Healthy food for a healthy Canada

Canadian growers produce a wide array of high quality vegetables, from asparagus to zucchini, from BC to Newfoundland.  The Vegetable Committee and Vegetable Working Group are a collective body made up from growers and representatives from grower associations from across Canada who discuss and decide on issues that affect vegetable production.  In collaboration with CHC staff and industry partners, such as the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the group seek to affect policies which improve their ability to grow vegetables.
