International farm worker and employer talk about how much they mean to each other

Josh and Anthony work together at TapRoot Farms in Port Williams, Nova Scotia. Josh owns the farm and Anthony is an international worker from Jamaica who comes up during the growing season to help out. The respect and admiration they have for one another is heartwarming. Anthony and his family, and many of the other workers at TapRoot, have hosted Josh in Jamaica. They have a great bond, and yet, thankfully, it’s not unique. These kinds of connections happen all the time in our farming community.
